I Love musicals, theatre or film if there is singing I love it. So when I saw the previews for this movie I knew I had to see it, but for me it was a very long wait. It is by far a different musical than any I’ve seen. It is uniquely made and if not for the music there would be no movie.
Using the songs of The Beatles this film takes you back to the sixties in a time of war and well peace. Spanning countries and water the title is a perfect description of this film. It revolves around a group of people and how they all react differently to the situations forced upon them and all the while singing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film and the singing was quite well done. The songs made you want to sing along with them. The choreography was brilliantly done and the colours and everything was quite good. I will quite honest and admit that there was a part in the film I did not enjoy, I just didn’t like it and thought it was too weird. But it did fit the film
I recommend this movie to those who like musicals and sometimes something a little different too.
I give it 4.5 IceCream Scoops out of 5
Rated PG-13 for some drug content, nudity, sexuality, violence and language.

I think kudos needs to be given to the creative genius behind this movie. Creating a movie with a bunch of random songs that normally don't connect in any way, yet this worked.
